How credits actually work in Ideovex
One balance, one price per render by model class, and a refund whenever a job fails. Exactly what you are charged, and when.
By Ideovex Team

Ideovex bills the render, not the seat. Everything you generate draws from a single credit balance, and the exact cost is printed on the Generate button before you commit to anything. A draft still is 1 credit; a flagship video clip is 400. Nothing is charged for a render you do not receive.
What does each render cost?
Price follows the model class, not the media type — a fast still and a cinematic clip cannot sit under one flat number. These are the live figures the studio charges:
| What you make | Class | Credits | ≈ USD on Starter |
|---|---|---|---|
| Image — draft | Fast | 1 | $0.003 |
| Image — standard | Standard | 5 | $0.014 |
| Image — premium | Premium | 20 | $0.056 |
| Video clip — fast (5s) | Fast | 60 | $0.17 |
| Video clip — standard | Standard | 140 | $0.39 |
| Video clip — flagship | Flagship | 400 | $1.12 |
| Music track | — | 80 | $0.22 |
| Upscale | — | 10 | $0.028 |
| Inpaint / outpaint | — | 20 | $0.056 |
| Free experimental models | — | 0 | Free |
Ask for four images in one run and that is four renders. The cost pill next to Generate always shows the total for the run you have configured, batch size and duration included.
When are credits taken — and returned?
Credits are reserved the moment a job is accepted, not when it finishes, which is what stops two browser tabs spending the same credits twice. When the job completes, the reservation settles; when it fails, times out or is rejected by a provider, it is released back to your balance automatically. You are never charged for a render you did not receive — if a failed job in History has not returned its credits within a minute, that is a bug worth reporting.
Plan credits vs top-up credits
- Plan credits refresh at the start of each billing period and do not roll over, so they suit steady, predictable work.
- Top-up packs are bought once and never expire. They stack on any plan, including Free, and are the right tool for a launch week or a client deadline.
When you generate, plan credits are spent first so your never-expiring balance stays intact for as long as possible.
The two limits that are not credits
Credits control how much you can render. Two other limits control how fast: a daily generation cap per tier, and concurrency — how many renders you can have in flight at once. On Free that is 60 generations a day and 2 at a time; on Studio it is 1,500 a day and 10 at a time. Extra jobs queue rather than fail, and the queue panel shows your position. Free experimental models cost zero credits but still use a daily generation slot, which keeps the free pool usable for everyone.
Where can I see my own spend?
The Analytics page in the studio breaks your spend down by day, by type and by model, next to your success rate. If one model is quietly eating half your budget, that is where it shows up. Full plan and top-up prices are on the pricing page.
